Staffing first. Everything else follows.
Three recruitment services registered under Division 78 — Employment activities, plus the building and electrical work we take on ourselves. Pick the one that matches the problem, or call the desk and we will tell you which it is.
Temporary & Contract Staffing
The bulk of what we do. You need hours covered, not headcount added — the operative stays on our payroll and we invoice you for the time worked.
This is employment business activity under SIC 78200 — Temporary employment agency activities. We are the employer of record: PAYE or CIS, holiday pay, statutory entitlements, pension auto-enrolment and Agency Workers Regulations parity all sit with us. Day-to-day direction on your site sits with you.
Next-day cover
A live pool per trade, carded and compliant, ready to be booked against your programme. Two to three days for a full gang on a new site.
Compliance done before arrival
Right to work verified, CSCS card sighted and recorded, tickets and licences checked against the role before anyone is booked.
Timesheets & weekly invoicing
Signed on site, one consolidated invoice per week with hours broken out by trade and by cost centre.
AWR & working time tracking
Twelve-week parity monitored automatically, working time opt-ins recorded, rest breaks logged.
- Lead time
- Next day for established trades · 2–3 days for a full gang
- Charge basis
- Hourly or day rate per trade — all on-costs included, agreed in writing
- Temp to perm
- Transfer fee on a published sliding scale, or free after a qualifying hire period
Permanent Placement
You need someone on your payroll, on a contract of employment, still doing the job in twelve months. We find them, test them, and hand you a shortlist you can choose from.
This is placement work under SIC 78109 — Other activities of employment placement agencies. We introduce the candidate; the employment relationship is between them and you. We are paid a fee on start, and that fee carries a rebate period.
Role mapping & salary benchmarking
What the role actually needs, and what the London construction market is paying for it right now.
Advertising & direct approach
Job boards, our own pool, and a mapped direct approach for the people who are not actively looking.
Trade & competency interview
Structured first-stage interview by someone from the sector, with written notes attached to every CV you see.
Offer management & rebate
Offer handling, counter-offer management, notice tracking and a written rebate guarantee.
- Typical roles
- Site managers, contracts managers, estimators, QSs, foremen, qualified supervisors
- Shortlist
- 5 – 7 working days from brief
- Fee basis
- Percentage of first-year basic salary, agreed in writing before we start
Managed Site Teams
Individual trades are fine until you are managing nine of them. A managed team is a whole gang with a supervisor on it — you brief one person and get one invoice.
Best suited to package work: a groundworks gang, a first-fix team, a finishing crew. We plan the labour against your programme, cover absence ourselves, and report on progress rather than waiting to be chased.
A working supervisor
On the tools and running the gang — inductions, sequencing, quality and the daily headcount.
Absence covered by us
If someone does not show, that is our problem to solve before your programme feels it.
One invoice
A single consolidated invoice for the crew, with hours broken out by trade and by week.
Progress reporting
A short weekly report — what was done, what is next, and what is holding it up.
- Best for
- Package works and programmes running four weeks or longer
- Commercials
- Blended crew rate, or a rate per trade plus a supervision charge
- Review
- Weekly progress report · site walk at each milestone
Construction & Electrical Delivery
The side of the business that keeps the recruitment honest. We take on domestic building and electrical work in our own right, which is how we know what a good trade looks like.
SIC 41202 — Construction of domestic buildings covers extensions, loft and garage conversions, structural alterations and full refurbishments of houses and flats. SIC 43210 — Electrical installation covers rewires, consumer unit upgrades, first and second fix, EICR inspection and reporting, and EV charge points.
Extensions & conversions
Single and double storey extensions, loft and garage conversions, structural openings with steels.
Refurbishment
Strip-outs, damp and structural repairs, kitchens and bathrooms, plastering, joinery and finishes.
Rewires & consumer units
Full and partial rewires, board upgrades to current regs, RCBO protection, earthing and bonding.
EICR, certification & EV
Condition reports for homeowners, landlords and agents, remedials priced separately, plus EV charge point installation.
- Certification
- Electrical Installation Certificate or Minor Works Certificate with test results
- Notifiable work
- Handled under Part P of the Building Regulations
- Pricing
- Itemised fixed-price quotation after a survey, staged against milestones
The paperwork is the product.
Anyone can find a body. The difference between an agency you keep and an agency you drop is whether the file behind that body survives an audit.
Under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 we cannot charge a work-seeker a fee for finding them work, and we do not. Not to register, not to be put forward, not to start. Our fees are paid by the hiring contractor.
The Conduct Regulations require us to tell you which capacity we are acting in for each engagement. Under SIC 78109 we act as an employment agency — we introduce a work-seeker for you to engage directly. Under SIC 78200 we act as an employment business — the operative remains engaged by us and works under your direction. It is confirmed in writing every time.
Verified before the first shift against original documents or through the Home Office online right to work service where the worker holds a share code. Copies are dated, signed and retained for the statutory period, giving you a statutory excuse against a civil penalty.
CSCS card appropriate to trade and level, plant and FLT tickets, driving licence categories, SSSTS and SMSTS for supervisors, ECS cards for electrical operatives, asbestos awareness and first aid where the role requires them. All sighted, recorded with expiry dates and re-checked before they lapse.
Day-one rights to facilities and vacancy information from the first shift, and equal treatment on basic pay and conditions after 12 calendar weeks in the same role. Our system counts the weeks and flags parity before it falls due, not after.
PAYE payroll with holiday accrual and pension auto-enrolment, or CIS where the engagement properly falls there. Off-payroll working assessed per contract engagement. Employers' liability, public liability and professional indemnity cover in place — certificates available on request.
Operatives arrive briefed on where they are going and who they report to. You remain responsible for site induction and a safe place of work under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015; we make sure nobody turns up without the training or PPE the role demands.
Where we carry out electrical installation ourselves under SIC 43210, the work is designed, installed, inspected and tested to BS 7671, the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations. Notifiable domestic work is handled under Part P of the Building Regulations and you receive the certificate with the schedule of test results attached.
Worker, applicant and client data is handled under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, with defined retention periods and a documented lawful basis for each processing activity. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.
